Location
INTER-ENG 2013 will be held in the city of Tîrgu Mureş which has not only a rich cultural heritage but is also an important intellectual center hosting museums, technical, medical and drama universities.
Founded in 1960 by the Ministry of Education and Culture and functioning without interruption under different names and higher education structures, the “Petru Maior” University numbers 53 years of existence.
The presence of this institution in Târgu Mures has provided the old
Transylvanian town that particular nucleus of spiritual, scientific and cultural life that marks the cultural level of an entire urban community where cultural, ethnical and confessional interrelationships are extremely complex and with high spiritual potential.
Conference Scope
The conference aims to promote dialogues, discussion and exchanges on how to manage industrial processes in more innovative, productive and effective manners. The role of technology will be underlined in the
context of the East European transition economies so that possible adaptations, learning, and improvement of research, practical examples, and excellent practices can be made. The continuous improvement as a result of technological applications and organizational innovation will be the focal point.
The participants can exchange new ideas, grounds, premises, and findings in the field of industrial engineering management. Special
events and remarkable key-note speakers will add a great value to the conference. Starting from this edition there will be organised online presentation sessions, named: Virtual Online Conference Panel. This alternative approach is intended for researchers who aren’t able to attend to the conference for different reasons but still want to have access to this scientific event.

Authors are invited to submit their unpublished, original work as extended abstract written in English.
Reviewed and accepted papers will be published as one dedicated issue in Elsevier’s Procedia Technology (ISSN: 2212-0173) and made available in open-access on Elsevier’s ScienceDirect.com, which is used by millions of researchers and professionals on a monthly basis guaranteeing maximum visibility of your research paper.
Accepted papers will be submitted to Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science (ISI Web of Science) for evaluation of inclusion in the list.
